My Fair Ladies is a registered chapter of The Red Hat Society
that operates on the Herts/Beds border. We can be contacted by email [email protected] We have made this website so that you can share our lives, view our photos and see how much fun we have. Enjoy! Our very first Gathering - Three Horseshoes, Norton 13th July 2009 At our very first gathering, about 18 ladies turned up. Some were existing Redhatters but many were new to the Red Hat Society and were made welcome by the 'old hats' . It was a very promising start. We now have over 40 members! Since that first meeting in 2009, there has been a lot of interest. Much of it initially generated by the small articles carried by the local papers about the Red Hat Society and a piece in the 'Comet' about the Red Hat Lady Rose, launched by Harkness Roses at Hampton Court Flower Show in July 2009. Whenever we go out as a Chapter, people ask about the Society and ladies always want to know how they can join. Only ladies over 50 qualify as Red Hatters but younger ones can join in the fun as Pink Hatters and wear pink and lilac rather than red and purple. It is now over fourteen years since that first gathering and we have had lots of outings and events and through such fun times, created firm friendships within the chapter. |
